About Laser Hair Removal

Lasers have dramatically improved since they were first introduced. This laser does not need any of the painful waxing or black liquid carbon on the skin that more primitive lasers required; though it does require hair to be close to the skin. Aloe gel is applied so the laser surface and easily glides over the skin's surface. This laser treats over 100 hair follicles per second. A lip can be done in just a few minutes. A back can be done in 60 to 90 minutes. A bikini line takes less than 30 minutes, and forearms only require about 45 minutes. Most clients require 4-6 treatments with about 4 - 6 weeks between each.

Most treatments with this laser are fairly comfortable. Every client has a different tolerance level, so there are topical anesthetics available if desired. One client even commented that a treatment on the back felt like a massage. Since tolerance levels vary, we will work with each client and provide an anesthetic if it is desired.
