Laser Hair Removal

The LightSheer Diode Laser is an effective solution for men and women to remove unwanted hair just about anywhere on the body. Studies have shown up to a 90% reduction in unwanted hair after 3-6 treatments. The laser works only on hair in the active growth phase so multiple treatments are necessary 6-8 weeks apart. Specifically, the light from the laser is absorbed by pigment in the hair follicle resulting in loss of that hair. The need for pigmentation means that blonde, grey, and fine villus hair are unaffected. The lighter the skin color and the darker the hair improves the efficacy of the laser.
